How We Make It Work
We start by defining your campaign objective: awareness, consideration, or direct conversion. From there, we map out the ad format mix, targeting layers, and creative angles.
Our process includes:
Audience Research & Targeting: We tap into Google’s audience network using in-market segments, custom intent audiences (based on search behavior), and retargeting lists. We also build custom audiences around keywords, websites, and competitor channels.
Creative Production: Our team scripts, edits, and produces high-performing video ads tailored for YouTube’s unique pacing and viewer behavior—hooking users fast and driving clear CTAs.
Ad Structure & Bidding: We use advanced campaign structures with TrueView for Action, Maximize Conversions bidding, and sequence ads when applicable.
Ongoing Optimization: We track video view rates, CTR, cost-per-view (CPV), video completion rate (VCR), and conversion metrics. Creatives are A/B tested and optimized weekly.
Landing Page Alignment: Video traffic is directed to conversion-optimized landing pages that match the ad messaging and streamline the user journey.
Recent Results
One of our recent YouTube campaigns was for a luxury real estate agency launching a high-end residential tower targeting international investors and HNW individuals.
Challenge:
The client had professional, cinematic property videos, but past YouTube ad efforts failed to convert—audiences were dropping off, view rates were low, and CPLs were too high. There was also no clear CTA or landing page alignment.
What We Did:
We restructured the campaign from both a creative and strategic standpoint:
New Ad Creative: We created a 30-second direct-response style video optimized for mobile, with strong hooks (“A luxury investment opportunity with 8% ROI”) and voiceover, text overlays, and emotional triggers. We also created a short 6-second bumper ad for retargeting.
Advanced Targeting: We targeted custom intent audiences based on real estate search behavior, international investment interests, and competitor YouTube channels.
Conversion Funnel: Viewers were directed to a dedicated landing page with an embedded walkthrough, live chat, and embedded lead form. We used YouTube conversion tracking and imported goals from Google Analytics.
The Outcome:
View rate jumped from 18% to 41.3%
CTR hit 2.9%, up from 0.8%
Video Completion Rate (VCR): 62% on the skippable ads
Cost-per-lead dropped by 54%
Lead-to-sales conversion: 13.5%, leading to $3.1M in closed deals during the campaign period
Bumper ads had over 470,000 impressions with high brand recall according to post-campaign surveys
